Department S titles made in 1968, feature a teletype machine, spinning computer reels, pulsating upbeat theme. UFO made in 1969, feature exactly the same.

Another excellent podcast. I agree with the guys on this one when they say King is the pivotal character, Wyngarde gives the show such charm. Credit must also go to Rosemary Nichols. For me she stands out amongst the ITC women. Most have a limited range - she does not. Watch her in The Persuaders episode Greensleeves. An excellent episode and an excellent performance from her. The incidental music and theme tune is superb too. Waiting on the next one boys!
